At Superior Pugs, we believe that the first few weeks of a puppy’s life are crucial for building a strong foundation for health, confidence, and well-being. That’s why we provide a carefully designed puppy room where each litter receives exceptional care and early developmental enrichment.
We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) as part of our daily routine. ENS is a scientifically proven method that involves gentle exercises performed during the first few weeks of a puppy’s life. These exercises help stimulate the nervous system, which can lead to improved cardiovascular performance, stronger immunity, and better stress tolerance later in life.
Alongside ENS, we practice Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to encourage puppies to explore and become familiar with a variety of scents early on. This gentle exposure helps develop their natural scenting abilities and builds mental stimulation, enriching their environment beyond just physical care.
Our puppies are introduced to a variety of different substrates, such as soft mats, carpet, and safe textured surfaces, to build their confidence walking and exploring diverse environments. We also gradually introduce different noises—from household sounds to mild background music—to help puppies become comfortable with everyday sounds and reduce noise-related anxiety in the future.
In addition to sensory enrichment, we focus on helping puppies become accustomed to routine care. We trim their nails weekly and give regular baths to familiarize them with handling and grooming in a calm and positive way. These early experiences help puppies develop resilience and reduce stress when facing grooming or veterinary visits later in life.
Our puppy room is designed to be a warm, safe, and stimulating space that prepares each puppy for a confident, healthy, and happy future. We’re proud to offer this level of care as part of our commitment to raising superior quality pugs.
